    Photo ID cards Glastonbury Festival

It now seems you’ll need an ID card just to get wasted in a field for 3 days.

    Jeez

Makes sense really. Just like having to wear a wrist band thing at Tidy. To make sure you are meant to be there. Imagine how many people would lose a card tho  :dunce:

you have to have a wristband anyway, the id card will be so that they can check you are the one who bought the ticket instead of touts flogging them on ebay...

they didnt check peoples names on the tickets last year anyway..

its nothing to do with the organisers, its the council... michael eavis has openly said he wish the festival could be free and open to as many people as possible, the councilhowever said..

    no.
