    Police at Shindig

For Prydz & Angello did anyone else see the police at Shindig? I was walking up the stairs and saw 4 bright yellow figures strolling down in my direction. The look on my face when I realised shindig weren't letting cybers in afterall and they were infact fully clothed policeman. I was straight through the door at the other end and back into the middle of the crowd.

Anyone know why they were there? Hopefully not Shindig regulars.

Maybe "undercovers" on a drugs reconnaissance mission?

There was a couple of bizzies outside Digital last night.

They appeared to be trying (along with Craig) to help some poor battered munter to his feet.

The Police were not at Shindig for any trouble or owt. Due to the recent changes to licensing law the Police are currently engaged in a high visability campaign. You can expect to see uniformed officers 'droppin in' to every club and bar in the region over the coming months. So..................................buy 'em a pint and make ther job more fun!

It was the same up consett way this weekend... I was playing on friday and the police were in with the local licensing officer just before I started - they were talking with the owners to make sure all the safety stuff in the venue (alarms, extinguishers etc) were all up to date.

Most councils do this in the run up to christmas... Kinda makes sense when most places are going into what is the busiest two weeks of the year :)

if they had full uniform on, i would hardly class them as undercover

they are easy to spot anyway- t-shirt tucked in jeans, asking if they can buy any 'ecstacy'

    what the fucks ecstacy?!
