Police in Bensham

Last night when I was coming home at about 11.15pm, I was driving up Bensham bank and there were laods of police cars dotted around, probably about 15, some were jsut sitting alongside the curb, some were in little 'alley way ' type things and some were driving around dead slow. It was really wierd, does anyone know if something kicked off or anything? I can't find anything about it on the news

i bet police cars are a rare sight in bensham!

I know they're always around there but there was literally about 15 which is a bit extreme, seemed as if something was going on

just kidding man - domestics always get a good turnout round here

someone was also glassed in greys club on sunday night and needed 36 stiches in his face

you sort of expect that if you go to greys though

it's rank, i had the displeasure of being taken there on a 'date'

nah not in bensham my sis used to live there

Bensham is currently a targeted area by the police, check out the lamposts theres loads of temp "spiders nest" spy cameras been put up

Most of Jesmond is cctv'ed even the dark back lanes behind the bars.

High council tax seens to earn the toffs a higher level of policing which cant be right

dominos got done over on Sat, it's Gateshead town centre but the thieves headed off Bensham way.
