Pubs to ban their own Happy Hours Happy Hour is likely to be banned by thousands of landlords across the country in a bid to crackdown on anti-social behaviour. The British Beer and Pub Association says cheap alcohol sales, promotions and Happy Hours will be banned by its 32,000 members. The move is aimed at cutting the cost of excessive drinking in British pubs, which the Government claims sets the country back £20 billion a year. It could see Happy Hour disappearing from bars such as All Bar One, Slug & Lettuce and Pitcher & Piano, as well as pubs owned by Carlsberg, Heineken, Scottish & Newcastle, Youngs, Theakston and Guiness-owner Diageo.

Its bars like Bar M, Pop World and most down the bigg market which should stop Drinks Promotions and Happy Hours.
No becasue I always have enough money to drink whatever I want when I am out this only effects the tramps. Happy hours are pointless now anyway if you want cheap booze while pubbing go to the Goose,Lloyds or Witherspoons (sp)
