whats every1's thoughts on this coz personally i think the money should go to the victim. not only is it a joke that he was "nearing the end of a life sentence" (is he nearly dead?), or allowed out on day release but the guy is actually gonna be allowed to keep the money coz day release prisoners are allowed to buy lottery tickets.

personally think its shockin that sum1 like this is allowed to buy the tickets neva mind keep the cash. where did he get the money from anyways? probs from the prison, ie the taxpayer!!!

That's bang out of order, i know exactly how his victim feels as it's happened to me, when i was 17. he should be locked up in a small room no bigger than a carboard box and not fed for 6 months. either that or be left allone in the room with his victims family and a baseball bat.
