Rave Flyers just been in the loft, found a load of old flyers in a shoe box, anyone else this hardcore? (read: old and sad)
Same here i have a box very similar at my mam and dads also loads of old eternity magazines and M8's plus about 100 or so tapes from 91-98. Keep the best 50 or so tapes from that era at mine. Its a shame that Hardcore will never die as not got all the early rez sets online so i don't have to fuck about with an old tape player when i want to listern to them.
Nice one Jay theats wicked, good to go thru when ya 50 and cant remember being there!!! haha Just seen the one saying Smurf's birthday!! get in.
Marty, I was getting mangled when I was 13 years old or younger lol the ones i took a pic of were just the top of the box, coupled with a few that i knew would spark something in others - theres loads more in there im scared to get out was always a struggle for me to get in there due to my age lol - i had a massive convo with scott brown after he played there one night and my ex drove him to his hotel, which was about 15 feet around the corner yes, i seen you around alot, quite the raver i remember cheers for that james, i worked out that was a website you were on about there and wasted sunday listening to 93/94 hardcore lol me too, well, just the ones i played at 50!?? optimistic! aye, i thought smurf's bday wouldn't go a miss - that was a good night! surprised nobody noticed the '94 shindig flyer's fuck, some good times in them flyers
Aye there's loads of really good stuff on on Hardcore will never die. The easygroove sets are still great. I went to whitly bay and got knocked back as well with false id. It worked though when i first went to Rez at 16 that NYE in 1993-1994
Ahh, the thin old days I've got a video somewhere from that night. Me daft mates paid for a stripper and it all get filmed. I was trying to get her to hurry up coz DJ Freak was ready to play :groovy:
