Raw... how good is this label! i know there's been a few that have been a bit shite, but the last few (19/20/21) more than make up for that. techno how it should be (or at least how i like it anyways )
I've been playing 20 for ages now, just bought 21 last week and RAW10 remixes which are both class. Guy McAffer is a talented man. Looking forward to 22 already
I know, it took me a while to put my finger on who the sample was lol. The hip-hop sample in 20 is mint aswell, love the way they kick after the main break. Bosh
yeah, i like subvert on euk by him too, guy mcaffer can do no wrong at the mo it seams! his rmx of sweet dreams is quite cool too!
um... mines on a white, on the back (or front) of the sharkboy rmx! its goodtho, the sharkboy one is well cheesy, but guy only uses bits of the original in the break, then back to his usual techy self an broony - yeah it is hard house techno - thats why its good
just listened to a rather techy end to ian m's afterssential mix... and enjoyed it i just cant stand pots n pans in a club
RAW - Hardhouse techno ???? i think not!! Ive got all the earlier RAWs .. mcaffer is a talent, the only hardhouse techno he does is joint efforts with BK and the likes. The earlier stuff is quality hard fast banging techno... just the way it should be... lets keep the hard house label away from it eh!!!!!! *purist to the core.
i know what you mean... in a club good techno is v good, but poor/average techno is vv bad! (from my experience anyways) stearling moss is emmence at hard house/techy stuff tho! some of the stuff he does
lets not associate monkey music with the so called pots n pans of techno !!!!! hard house will be the poison apple to techno.. definitely not the way to go.
i've jus got a white label with a sticker on it that says - "C & A - sweet dreams" side a sharkboy mix side b guy mcaffer mix its really techy an you can tell its his sorta sound.
