    Recommendations for flooring services

Has anyone had their floorboards professionally stripped etc? I'm after a recommendation for any companies that do it, if anyone has any.

    Many thanks.

I hate UPVC but its cheap. Did you know UPVC is illegal in most of Europe becasue its so bad for the enviroment?

My house is pretty old (1830s) and in a conservation area, so uPVC isn't really an option if I want to retain at least some semblance of character!

fuckin hell do you know how much timber double glazing costs???

you can get pvc d.glazing that looks like black/white glossed wood, worked on a house in spital tongues which has such thing, they are sash style windows which also looks nice

Putting in uPVC seriously buggers up the value of the house though. Plus it is an old house (1830s) and in a conservation area, so there is absolutely no chance of putting in uPVC. The expense of timber will be worth it!
