Removal / Van Rental Anyone know any decent companies or has anyone relocated from one end of the country to another? Trying to work out if hiring a van is better or getting my stuff sent via DHL or some company like that
cross county removals will be in the many hundred, a 1 way weekend van rental might be around the £100
u drive the van divi then drop it at their depot!!! i did it when i finished uni in '98, hired a van in leciester, drove all my shit home then didn't have to return the van back to leicester, just to the nearest depot - you'll pay a premium on top, but it's not much more - and still cheaper than a removals company
Might be able to get a national company a bit like you do when driving from one airport to another in a hire car
Sorry didnt read the relocation bit, thought you wanted someone to just delivery a package to the other end of the country When we moved to London we just hired a van and dropped it off at one of the London depots. Think it was £80 for an overnight hire dropping it off down there before 5pm. That was a couple of years ago though...
