    Good signing if it is as big Sam has a good record of keeping players who are off the rails in check like Anelka and Diouf for example.

    Surely his first signings need to be defenders.

    Midfielders and Forwards can wait you have Owen, Martins, Ameobi, Parker, Butt, Dyer etc...

    The money would be best spent on defenders first and foremost even if it means you cant buy a big name striker or Midfielder because of spendin nearly all of it on the defence.

    Names are being thrown around left right and centre but i bet most of the players who come in are unknown. or Foreigners on the cheap.
