Sasha - Involver Dont know if theres been a thread about this... probsbly has i just cant be bothered to read back n find out! N e ways whats every1 think of it? I got it other day and love it!
i bought it too was mixed reports on here bowt it, similar style to what he played at shindig very floaty towards the end. is class i reckon, sashas mixes always really grow on you after a few listens too. got the vinyl pack too, i sasha
totally agree, thought it was ok on the first couple of listens but the more you hear it, the better it seems to get....
How did I miss this coming out. I'm just downloading it now and will be off to hmv to pick up a copy in the morning. I love living about hmv and mcdonalds, what else could I need?
I totally agree with that ^^^^ i've had it for 2 weeks now, listening to it 24/7 and it's absolutely mindblowing. The vocals and the harmonies between tunes are superb. The only thing that i dont like is the felix the housecat tune, it just simply doesnt mesh with the rest of them. Also, shame its protooled to fook, but nuff respect to the man, because it must have taken ages to re-work all those tunes to make them sound that good. Mint
At first when i looked at the tracklisting i was thinking theres not very many but each track is really long!
I really like songs with male vocals on....I know a lot of people dont like tunes with male vocals like bossanova - stonecold .... Has any1 heard Sashas mix of Alex Dolby - psiko garden?
hahah, i've just put involver on the hi-fi. sasha's remix of psiko garden is quite good, but i cant seem to fit it in anywhere. If you like male vocals listen to anything by the echomen, they are superb. Spirit, the cure, truth and substance are all superb tunes.
listen to "the cure", Its got a spooky male vocal on, many purists dont like it, but I think it makes the tune what it is. Another great tune on involver is petter-these days. Some of petter's tunes on the six songs EP are superb, have a listen if you get a chance.
