Satoshi Tommie @ Shindig NYE but id just like to say Satoshi Tommie on NYE was class n should hired for promise with a slightly adjusted set
more trancey mayb???? his shindig set was a bit too housey, but there wos a load of big beats maybe a tad trancey tuning for a promise nite!
He's a mint house DJ, really like his sets... but.... he is better suited to shindig... Talking of the japanese... has anyone seen japanese cyberkids... they put us lot to shame!
Yep i wouldnt mind seeing him play, was gonna go when he was at shindig befoe the new year, but i didnt go, he didnt turn up anyway. If he changed his set that would be good cos id love to see him finish the night, or you could just have him starting the night and letting someone like matt finish it off
Iv had nothing but EXCELLENT reports on Satoshi Tommie from NYE. He can played trancey prog, he used to b4. About Jap cyber kids........Just how do they get their eyes like that???
Saw him at Bedrock in March. He was technically brilliant, if a little too overly sure of himself. His style is probably far too percussive these days tho for a big room trance club like Promise.
Re: more trancey mayb???? Eh? Shindig is a house club tho and hes a house DJ. Hes a gud DJ but not for Promise I think.
well said, satoshi was quality on NYE but i think the reason why everyone came out of shindig thinking he was absolultly class was more to do with the atomosphere that night. it was second to none. even better that promise, dare i say it. *nick then thinks of all the abuse he is guna receive* ok then! it was just different to promise! but still fucking mint!
The atmosphere at Shindig on NYE was not even half as good as any normal Promise night. I was there, how do you expect to get a good atmosphere when half the people only went there to stand round the sides looking good and not even bothering to dance. Promise wins hands down
satoshi tomiie didn't have quite the same atmosphere as a promise night but 2 days earlier, big rog went off it. some of his song choices e.g. addicted to bass were a bit dubious but technically the mans a genius. got to admit it though, promise leaves shindig standing when it comes to atmosphere. too many posers on a saturday.
