seal stranded on bank of river tyne

there is a seal stranded on the bank of the river tyne next to dunston, i have rang rspca but they said there is nothing they can do and i have to ring them again when i have finished. But he is clearly distressed and as the tyne comes in he is moving further away from it.

Any Ideas???


if anyone wants to ring them feel free 0870 5555999 as the more people who report it they might go and see it.

They've just said that if he is still there when i finish my shift to ring back but by that time the tyne will have rose and it might be too late

how can a seal get stranded?

they can move on land and in water... they're not like whales that can beach themselves or little kids that can't swim?

I think even the fish are scared of the water in the tyne.

seals can swim lulu....

if it cant swim then it'll die.... what are they supposed to do with a seal that can't swim?
