Be sensible with your reserve price. i know a lad who was selling a pair of brand new stanton direct drive decks, cost him a grand, he put a reserve of £200 and only got 1 bid. He also didn't put the delivery costs on - so he had to pay - £30!! so he only got £170 for them - THEN ebay took their cut! he was a joey like.

Make sure u put a rough estimate of the postage and packaging.

Get the cash first and make sure it clears. Paypal is easy - but u get charged by them.

Don't get divi board members to put silly bids in....

Lister is the man to ask but I usually dont put a reserve on and start the starting bid at a resonable price, if you are selling a few things dowload Turbo-Lister as it makes things easier.
Try and words that people would search on in the title for example put the word 'tiesto' in there if its a tune he played.
Register for Paypal and always put a decent postage cost, even if this takes weighing the package and contact someone like Parcelforce for a price:)
    Hope this helps

eBay - a few percent of the final sale value - PayPal the RECEIVER of the money gets a £5 charge i think.

u can have 1 or 2 photos free i think - more than that cost.

Ebay takes you through the price of the listings, if you are adding pictures or reserve prices it costs more. Paypal is about 50p per payment which is fuck all, just add 50p to your postage costs.

For a picture you need either a link to a picture(web) or a picture saved on your hard-drive.

give a good description cos even any little faults on things you sell can result in people leaving you negative feeback which will make people not want to buy stuff from you.

i recomend paypal, saves a lot of chew on and it easy to transfer money you make into your bank account.

Ebay takes about a standard 15-20 pence or so, with about another 15 pence per picture. Depends on how much you sell it for.

I add on a little bit extra for the postage...no one really checks, a little bit extra cash always comes in handy...hehe.:p

    Paypal takes about...5% mebbies less...not more than 5% I don't think...something like that:confused:

I just got outbid on a TAXIDERMY - MOUNTED BUFFALO HEAD - once you start on Ebay you too will start bidding on pointless stuff that you plainly just don't kneed:rolleyes: :p
