It's hard to believe it was 5 years ago isn't it. All the images and thoughts from that day are still as vivid today as they were 5 years ago, I know for a fact I will never forget that fatefull day.
Slightly inconsiderate? We have a minute silence in rememberance of WWI and WWII every year, there's no way in which a similar thing on September 11th wouldn't be feasible
If it gets as much media coverage on its 6th anniversary then they need to sort it out. Fair enough for the first 5 years, but back to my original question, how long is this going to go on?
Thats ever so slightly different though. Do we have one for the titanic sinking? Thats more of a comparison.
Well yes I know, I'd agree that the two world wars are far more deserving of an annual silence, that was more just to point out that we do actually hold annual silences. The September 11th incidents were a monumental occasion in world history. It's not exactly surprising that people are still talking about it five years afterward. A lot of people are still affected by things that happened that day.
Total over the top "fatefull day" hahahaha I bet he's fun on a night out, a few beers and he'll probably start on about global warming.
America is the most corrupt place in the world. I think 9/11 was an inside job anyway. Its all a load of shit.
I have read 3 different conspiracy books on the event, aswell as watching two programes on it. I think its safe to say its a load of shit, terrorists did it but the US trained them...
Is it relevant that I do not have 100000 posts on this forum to have an opinion? My point, albeit a generalisation, was that people like Micheal Moore tell these sort of conspiracy stories (as do many others, he's just the most famous), but ONLY show what they want you to see. I cannot argue that there are several "grey areas" with regards to the events that day, but it's foolish to beleive everything you see and hear in these conspiracy theories. We will never know the real truth. What points in particular are scientifically impossible? I find that strange, since they DID happen...
