Shindig as by far one of the best nights out. You can't argue with underground club of the year two years running. Voted for by CLUBBERS

It has the consistently best atmosphere in the country. Proper underground music and a class crowd

Scruf - When MIXMAG classed Plummet - Damaged as trance, that was the supreme pinnacle of lowness. Plummet is shite mass produced crap, with cheesy female vocals and predictable break-downs. There's dozens of songs out there atm that sound just the same. Most of them are on this years MOS CD.

I've always enjoyed both promise and shindig when i've been, but shindig more so. The line-up is always good, the atmosphere is always awesome. Only bitching I would do is on the price of the drinks; far too expensive for me to make it a weekly thing.

I wouldn't take much notice of what mixmag say though. The best way to judge the place is by how many people turn up there on a weekly basis. You don't pull in the punters in those numbers by being shite. Same with promise. Despite the change to monthly, it still has a regular following. And last time I was there, I thoroughly enjoyed it as webba will tell you.

Thats the mark of a good club night - being able to enjoy it.

    Fuck the mags :p
