    Should Rob pull the plug?

It seems this board has slowly degenrated into a cessepool of endless verbal diarrhoea, with no new members, a forum for every colour of the rainbow and a distinct lacking of anything going on upstairs other than the same old tired arguments and discussions revolving around...

    -jews
    -pakis
    -mackems
-jimi the retarded racist bigot and his ring licking bird..
-miller and oasis at each others throats with cookee and the rest of the board cringing in the shadows..
    -allies misguided dress sense
    -allie and his medical dictionary
    -andy telling him otherwise
    -detox
    -cats
-brid coming out with some excessively profound comment or 'final thought'
    -nass and mushrooms
-ruths overexcited tales of her daily chores
    -duncan still talking about ket/sti's
-a melee of chavs fighting over who has the best trainers
-some muppet listing his top ten trance anthems all with (2006 remix) strapped on the end..
-top 10 films (fear and loathing, trainspotting, lock stock)
-me telling you all how shit the north east is and how stupid you all are, missing the satire in this..

I sometimes wonder why Rob keeps this board going in the way I wonder why Oakenfold keeps playing Trance.. it clearly bores him shitless and he seems quite embarrased to have to bang out past its sell by trance to a tent full of gurning degenerates.. but he keeps plodding on..

c'est la vie.. should it go?

It's been done to death, I think at least every board member bar the new ones has said at least once that they detest the place or have no idea why they still come on..

I've been thinking about pulling the plug for ages, I don't think this board is anything special anymore.

One of my main reasons for posting on this board is I like the jew/paki debates...

Yup, but I got bored of explaining to halfwits why racism is wrong about 2 years ago.

The only money you make off this board is the ad-banners, but the most popular night amongst the people on this board seem to be detox or habit, neither of which pay their way.

I'd be gutted to see the board go, but as I said I don't think anyone would hold it against you.

I think the only good thing to come from the death of this board would be that my post count would never reach 20,000 :king:

I think Joe should buy the rights to this board and change its name to www.jewcastle.co.uk, then he can ban all of the racists:)

    Keep it.

I get a lot out of:

    Technology
    Music
    Mixes
    News
    FAO's when they kick off
    Photos
    Linkage
    Sport
    Events

In fact, bar the odd racist post, and ex-GG toss in Banter I think it's still a wicked board

Needs a way to attract new members though.

The arguments have been here since i started, most of the time it's harmless fun but I agree it gets out of hand at times with the racism. The majority of racism goes on without much affect on people, as there arnt many ethnics posting. The only person i can think of who it affects is Joe, I can see why it would too.

Like Scruf said, it all gets a bit repeatative. It's all the same arguments recycled over and over again. If we had more new members the arguments would change.
