Sick Thugs kill Pygmy Goat at Pets Corner

Sick Yobs have killed one of the two Pygmy Goats from Pets Corner in Jesmond on Friday night.

The Goat was found stuffed into a bin and possibly sufficated.

The goat shared a pen with another Pygmy goat and they where know as Pinky & Perky.

Attacks like this have happened at the petting zoo before and they are looking to improve security.

I think punishment for cruelty for animals is far too lenient. Ban them from keeping any pets for a year or two? Like that's going to stop anyone.

Theres to much animal cruelty going on. I know the news papers highlight it with the best intentions of making people realise that theres some sick twisted idiots out there that do this horrible stuff to deffenceless animals and tuffer sentencing should be applied, but it does work in the opposite way aswell. These idiots think just because the newspapers report on it and highlight it, they can go out and do it and brag about it and think its fun because the percentage of getting caught is very low and the punishment if caught is a slap on the wrists and being banned from keeping pets! wow thats gonna scare them off.

I read the other day, 3 lads were seen taking a dog up to 12th floor of a block of flats and pushed it out of the window. There was paw prints a nd scrathch marks all over where it had tried to climb back in. The 3 lads were then seen leaving the flats laughing and getting into a car while 2 women were comforting the dog which later died of severe internal and external injuries.

Very sick world ..........
