Its so wierd how these senses get better after quitting! Food tastes so good now the only downside will be increased smellage of tramps on public transport

I havent had a ciggarette in 13 days, it rocks.

I've just started again after a year

I have about £70 worth of patches and losanges (the strong prescription ones) if you want to quit again

I loved giving up smoking. I could breathe and everything.

I did it bareback last time, i'll quit again soon, i'm enjoying smoking at the minute though

How does smoking stop you smelling and tasting though?

Same a mate gave me them all from when she tried to quit. I tried one of the lozenge things and it felt like having a line of speed. I felt well sick afterwards and wont use them anymore

:tut: You were my inspiration for quitting, i quit a week after you, cold turkey aswell. I did'nt have a single cigarette until after 6month. Lately i've been having a couple when i'm out drinking, I'm going to stopp doing this because thats how i started in the first place

I feel much better now after quitting, I can run again

Maybe you should have stuck to smoking then.

your whole aura without you realising stinks of smoke if you're a smoker!!!therefore when you stop you lose the cloud of smog around you and you can breate. You can taste stuff better as you lose the smoke taste in your mouth.

I've never smoked but had to have nicorette gum for an experiment, it was that disgusting I had to have a bottle of coke to sip everytime I chewed and now anytime I drink coke I can taste cigarette taste it haunts me EURGH

A few weeks after i quit my brother got in my car and he smelled so bad, I did'nt realise this is how i smelled for 2 and half years

I'm gonna go tell my boss about it. Maybe i will get time off work for depression.

You truly are a brave soul. Weaker men would've cracked at the hands of the sort of bullying you have had to contend with.
