Smoke in Foundation

Abosolutely horrible, just stupid amounts of smoke in there, one night in a packed foundation is probably the equivalent of passively smoking around 20 cigarettes I feel horrible when I leave after a night there. It needs to be sorted, some sort of ventilation system or something. In fact it severely puts me off going there. I'd have to be tempted by a seriously good DJ line-up to make it worth it after last nights smoke fest at Sugar Shack. Plus James Zabelia was dire so that didnt help.

Fair bit of smoke, but isnt that from the smoke machine?

He's right though.

Shouldnt have to breathe in other peoples filth and there should be legislation to improve ventilation systems to extract foul tab smoke.

There is legislation on ventilation in licensed premises (the air inside should effectively be changed 3 times an hour), just not many places follow it.

Surely when you absolutley stink of smoke you notice?

Of course there should - if licensed premises abided by the rules they wouldn't have had to draft in the smoking ban legislation... oh well...

Anyone with a camera must have noticed how much smoke there seems to be in foundation than anywhere else. The first time i used my camera was there and i was gutted when most of the crowd pics just showed up like fog.. there is a massive amount of fumes flying about in there.

That generally is actually the smoke machine causing that though! If you know what you are doing with your camera and it's half decent, you get much better results without using the flash at all, with the flash everything appears white and takes away the atmosphere of the club...no flash captures all the colour! Try it

Back to the point...Dodgy....the government may be concerned, but banning smoking altogether isn't fair, at the end of the day it's up to the person concerned wether or not they smoke. What's wrong is that people are forced to breathe in other peoples filth. It's all well and good people arguing the toss "oooh it's unfair" blah blah....it's only unfair for non smokers who have no real choice but to breathe it in, damaging their health in the process. I'm all for an outright ban in public places and really hope the plans do come into play.

I dont smoke tho and i dont like having to breathe it in.. I'm used to it now tho and i dont even care anymore..

aye many a time have people narrowly missed me while using tabs as glowsticks
