Re: Sony PSP Not for much longer, Sony are clamping down on retailers selling 'grey imports' of the PSP. The games look spot on though, we've got a demo one at work, every time we've shown a customer the graphics quality they've put down a pre-order
Re: Re: Sony PSP Most of the online importers wont import any PSP consoles or games to the UK now,got there wrists slapped off Sony. Not sure if one site is trying to argue about it and take sony to court. People who got theres before the clampdown have saved some cash though 130-140 on import and there gonna be 180 over here. Ridge Racer and Wipeout pure look and play class and Pro Evo 5 is coming out soon too.
September 1st apparently, had mine since Feb Ridge Racers is awesome, also got FIFA. and a couple of movies on a memory stick. Get one - you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to GTA Liberty city and gran tourismo mobile this autumn.
Get one on import- the ones at firmware version 1.5 and below (US or JAP consoles) can play homebrew applications (emulators etc) (and copied games if you're a pikey) without the need for any hardware moification. the ones coming out over here def can't, well not yet anyway but it's looking really unlikely. The team that cracked the xbox have been working on the PSP scene for ages now and are way better than most of the other people about for this side of things. It's definitely worth considering before buying one though.
Yea mines 1.5,not tryed homebrew stuff yet though. Sony's bringing out 2.00 firmware with a web browser but then you cant play homebrew or emulators if you upgrade.
there's a browser for 1.5 too if you've got wipeout pure, it has a hiden one- there's guides to using it on the teamxecutor site
