Soulseek My soulseek downloads really really slowly even though i am running a 4 meg connection, other programmes (bearshare) downloads like lightning but not slsk :evil: Everyone else uploads from me really quick (& a damn sight quicker than me), even people on 1 meg connections, i just dont get it. Can i make it faster? Is there any settings that can be tweaked? I realise that if people are gettin my tunes then it will slow it down but this happens even when i'm the only one downloading
It entirely just depends on the other person's upload speed. Remember that you have a max d/load rate of around 500kB/s, but your own upload rate will only be ~50kB/s at max.
