Anyone from there or near?

Whats it like?

What I heard of the area it wasn't too good...but just built a new estate there right on the edge, next to 2 other private estates, a doctors and a community centre/church - looks alrite....so I bought one of the houses.

Mistake or alrite?

the place is like bosnia in the winter mate, i know of the new estate your on about, it looks nice and is along a stretch of road far enough from town to warrant bother i suspect, aslong as you dont venue to far into town you might be alright.

i was just hoping cos its right out of the way it wud be ok....got 4 weeks to decide!!

other place i looked is that new estate down in seaham...hazel dean? not sure tho!!!

seaham ill take you for a pint in the lion, most respectable pub in seaham... :laugh:

nah in all honesty the seaham new estates are spot on, the south hetton ones are ok aswell but south hetton is way behind seaham in terms of regeneration and updating and its near to peterlee and no one wants to be near peterlee.

the coast down seaham is spot on

Too many ppl have sed bad things about south hetton now..even tho the place houses are in looks ok...the area seems to have a shit rep...not gud!!

Is South Hetton where Lisa & them live? If its the place im thinking of i certainly wouldnt want to live there,its well rough! the new houses in Seaham actually look quite nice though. Have you thought of anywhere else? There are loads of these new estates in Sunderland.
