What does everone usually take, and how much do you reckon ill need.
Exchange rate is shit so it'll be more than i want to spend, or should i say can spend.

Fuck that. Just found out I get a mint exchange rate from work.
I was guna get one of those cash cards from thomas cook, but the new ones charge you like 2% everytime you put on or take money off.

£1000 a week at least! You can always bring back what you dont spend. This year prices are extortianate in Ibiza.

Fuck that with the change to Dollars first it all works out roughly the same & the dollar has dropped recently too.

Just order the full lot from www.travelex.co.uk & pick it up at the airport & get a safety deposit box - sorted!

We sell those Cash Card things, seem to be more hassle than out else, dont work everywhere, no chip & pin, charged everytime you use it.

iv done a week on £500 twice before, its sound if you dont go too mad. although you will probly need more this year

I've done two weeks on a grand aswell, but this year was alot different spent almost double & could well have done with more. had to miss a few things due to lack of funds

is it just cos of the exchange rate or have prices gone up too?

you must have a naughty persil habit to spend a grand and not have enough to do everything ya wanted.

I spent just over a grand a few years back when i went for two weeks and went out every night and managed to get battered no probs. didnt bring any money back like.

think i spent £1500 in 2 weeks last year, went out every night apart from one, but we were getting our stuff for next to nowt off a mate or it would have been more

My m8 is there now and has taken £1000.

I suppose it depends what you want to do. Going to all the big clubs every night will cost you a fortune obviously. Choosing 3 or 4 to goto over the week and drinking before going out would no doubt save you a fortune.

Bottle of vodka per night couldn't cost you anymore than £100

I spent nearlly 2 grand this year & ran out of money

I could take £850 but i would be skint when i got back. I might have to boycot my rent. Im going out every night like, but I'll only be drinking and I dont intend on getting smashed every night. An average of 50/55 euros per club, x 7. Thatl be around 400 just for getting in clubs. I reckon i could do it on £800, and just drink more before i get in the clubs and top up with a shot every hour or so lol.

I took a grand on my first year and spent the lot, i took 700 last year and had a bit left over... so i think its down to control more than out else.... if you spend it all though you know youv had a mad trip.

Does anyone know if the prices for closing partys are higher... or the same as normal??

It's just daft really. A weeks holiday in europe costing 1300 quid or summit. I had two weeks in malaysia for £1350.

I went to Ibiza twice and spent about £500 one year and £600 the next (i think anyway). I could quite easily of spent double that like. It;s shit going clubbing and not being able to have a drink in the clubs because it's just far too expensive.

The exchange rate to euro's now is dump aswell so I bet that's shit for people going over.

You usually get loads of people selling there decks to fund it aswell. Giving up there dream for a week away.

Agreed mate, ive just done this year on £550 for a week. Didnt go daft during the days and had 3 'sessions' during the week, it is more expensive than previous years though it just depends how wild you want to go really.

I'm there in 5 weeks and, although I'm taking about a grand to be safe, I'm hoping to only do around the same amount you spent.

You can easily spend more if you have it mate though ive only ever spent about that all the times ive been over. Just a case of being sensible really and not going daft when theres no need to.

We went out 3 times clubbing and went for a decent meal every other night, even though wasnt flush towards the end of the week still had enough to spend on the essentials
