    Spiked!

I got spiked at Blue Velvet last saturday night.
Was rushed to hospital by ambulance and was unconsious for 6 hours. I think I know who did it and the club won´t let me view the CCTV for proof. Am in 2 minds about going to the police.
I had about half a bottle of vodka and apparently a fairly high dosage of GHB, which could have been fatal according to the hospital. Can someone explain to me where is the fun in spiking someone?

Go to the police - definately. Tell the bar, in writing AND over the phone to save their CCTV footage from this night as it's being investigated by the police. do this SOON otherwise the tapes will be recorded over.

    where's blue velvet?

there is no fun in it, especially with GHB....you should deffo go to the police cos if he is doing it to other women he might be doing it to rape them!

Not nice, but it could be true. You could stop it from happening to someone else.

That´s why I want to know who it is. A few of my good friends work in Blue Velvet as I used to work there, and I´m concerned that something could also happen to them.
And the club should be concerned, but all they care about is money!

i'd say they were doing the right thing - they can't just show anyone who walks off the street footage, no matter what they say. coming from the police is a different matter

if you think you know who did it, ring the police and tell them what happened and mention that you can identify the man from the CCTV, also mention that you have rang the club and they have refused for you to view the CCTV footage. as i say i think its law for all liscensed premises to keep cctv footage for 30 days!

they cant just show you the footage due to data protection as well, it does have to be the police who get the footage. But you'd think they'd be a bit more helpful.

I´m not anyone walking off the street, I was working there that night.
Still work there like once a month, but defo not going back now.
A club should look after their staff, and I don´t personally need to see the CCTV but would like them to have a look.
But am going to the police after work, so they can check the tapes. As I don´t want to accuse anyone without proof.
