Sounds more like a Tiesto trick than a Van Dyk one

Look through a PVD setlist, you will usually see one or two proggy/housey tracks in there, and think 'strange'.

But he does throw them in and massively speed them up. Remember he used to do that with Star 69 (X-press 2 Mix).

it did sound ok at the time though, like all his 'housey' stuff he used to break up his long sets with, a bit of a welcome break if not a bit dated.....

reminds me of the picotto 6 hour marathons when he used to throw down some silver screen, sono, sunglasses at night etc to slow it down a bit half way through!

and it's not as bad as when pvd plays border community stuff at ridicuously fast speeds...no need for that sort of shit!

When he drops the sets to house its class cos some of the stuff that he plays is quality, altho sometimes its shit !

The more i download off his radio show the more house i get cos he plays all sorts on there - thats if there isnt a Nu NRG / Ronski Speed special night on

I remember @ GC May 03 when he played "Punk - The Rock" and everyone was puzzled to fuck, it wasnt long until he dropped the bass tho and it was back up to about 145+bpm :D  :p
