summer let down on the boat

    well i gotta say !!
goodgreefs summer sizzler was more like the summer simmer.
there were more chavs and cardboard gangsters than an ikon reunion....
the dj's were crap ( yoji was just dire )
this was more commercial than a QVC cd sale !!
junior g has more taste than this and should be called senior g in my eyes.
i thought at 1 point i was on a set from harry enfields tv show as there were more chav tracksuits on display than a scousers single mothers day out...

anybody else here pay for this drivvle of a night ?

it was nowhere near as bad as that, aye there was a few radge there but its the same everywhere you go in newcastle.

the dj's werent that bad like, was really looking forward to seeing sander van doorn and i wasnt dissapointed, eddie was eddie, and yoji was as yoji always is.

just a shame the place utterly fucking stunk and didnt have a cash machine......

yoji actually played a hard techno set which went really well with the flow of the night following on from mark norman , completely different to his usually hard trance / nrg sets !!!

Overall i had a really good night , seen hardly any charvas and i was in there from quite early on right till 3am , seen no trouble and was only really disapointed by eddie halliwell and gaz west's terrible attempts at mixing !!!

sander van doorn played a blinder imo

@ pike , the gg girls were deffo sumit special like

    aye.
I only really wanted to go for SVD and Eddie, though think i defo made the right choice in going to Crasher :D

Heard mixed reports about Halliwell at the boat though he totally rinsed GC, as did Hardwick & Corsten, plus Sheridan and Patterson werent bad either :king:

The boat as a venue puts me off going now, the first couple were okay for novelty value though the club itself is looking well ropey now, as is the crowd it generally pulls in.
