Take A Beating Grandfather Robert Marshall was left battered and bruised after an alleged attack. Mr Marshall had been enjoying a quiet night out with his family when the incident happened. The 56-year-old is now in hospital with severe facial injuries, including fractured cheek bones, and chest injuries. Doctors say he will need months of specialist reconstructive surgery at Newcastle General Hospital. The grandad-of-three, from Brunswick Village, was with his family at the Traveller's Rest pub, in Camperdown, North Tyneside, on Saturday night.
