I don't know what all the commotion is about, it's been happening for years. When a dog retires, if it's no good for breeding, the trainers don't want them and can't house them and when you think about how many greyhounds are raced in the UK it would mean that just about every other household in the country would own a greyhound, if they weren't destroyed. At the end of the day they aren't born to be domestic pets, even though they are one of the most friendliest breed of dog, they are born to race!
