    The Gallery - Turnmills

I dont think there is a club in the UK that can boast line-ups as good as the Gallery on Fridays at Turnmills, if prog/trance with the odd bit of techier stuff thrown in is your thing. Their line-ups for just January and February alone contain the following.

    JFK
    Darren Christian
    Nic Fanciulli

    Pulser
    Thrillseekers
    Gareth Emery (GTR)

    Dave Seaman
    Anthony Pappa
    Lange

    Judge Jules
    Seb Fontaine
    Matt Hardwick

    Pete Tong
    Tall Paul
    John Askew

    Armin Van Buuren
    Eddie Halliwell
    Fergie
    Krysko
    Greg Vickers

    Ferry Corsten
    Corvin Dalek
    Benny Benassi
    Adam Sheridan
    James Holden

    M.I.K.E.
    DJ Remy
    The Filterheadz

    Nick Warren
    James Zabiela
    Montana

Im off to see Seaman/Pappa/Lange next Friday, but theres plenty more i would love to go to, if only it wasnt so far away in London.

If there was enough interest in any of the nights, then id drive / put a minibus on. Travelling costs wouldnt be too bad, shared out.

But only if it didnt clash with Promise/Quality of course. ;)

Yeah mate, its a class club.

I went last June. Saw Timo Maas and Phil Kieran. Had a great time.

Timo was on fire that night.

    Yeah, granted but

-the venue is tiny(the building it's self is mahoosive just the space seems to dissaprear once you go in downstrairs) and got too many small rooms.
-Dance floor is way over packed and you can't go mad for it, bustin big scary moves (if your thatway inclined, but I aint talkin boddypoppin or breakdancing here b4 any1 has a go.)
-cockneys can't dance for shit. you'll know what i'm on about if you've ever experienced it. they do that jump up and down thing and kick the imaginary foot ball thing. I believe it's called the frantic bounce. as aposed to the HrdHseWiggle (the sundisetial shimmey?) every northern clubber does. Way more style and fook, luck soooo much better.

i like small venues, better than big clubs IMO.

I dont dace like David Brent, so ill survive.

If they cabt dance, its fine by me, ill take home all the pussy.

    everyones a winner.

I was just saying the same thing to Vin a few days back - the gallery is quite probably the only club which has consistantly managed to keep the most up to date line up's over the years - probably due to being in the capital with a steady stream of Australians but hey :)

Pity that cans of stella there are £4 each :)

Looking forward to Seaman in the next 2 weeks - although dunno if im gonna manage a 6-8am finish   :D

Another thing thats good about Turnmills, and also Promise is that dark and dirty feel.... these p00ftah gatecrasher esque places with their expensive refits just dont suit the music :)
