The Lion King The Musical (theatre) I went to see this in london as part of a college trip the other day and although i was bored shitless a lot of the time, i still highly recommend it to anyone who either liked the lion king, or is a fan of theatre. The props are great and the lighting is spot on so i was able to appreciate the show from a production point of view. I liked a couple of the songs such as "He lives In You" becasue it was a happy uplifting vibe and the very beginning was good. Unfortunately I'm just not a fan of the lion king or theatre There was some comedy achieved in my eyes by the woman who was a leopard cos she definately looked like she was thrusting the shit out of it doggy style The girls liked it and the camp lads thought it was the best thing since spandex.
thats funny i,ve just been to see it also in london at the lyceum theatre. i think it was really good kept gettting tingles up the back of my neck, the productin of it was amazing and so where the musicians, the kids who were acting in it were really good i would recomend it also
sounds good - the theatre is so much better than the cinema the ballet opera or plays are always spot on and kudos to the perfomers and effort gone in to them
I'm more of a cinema person. I can't get into the theatrical prancing about and the ballet type gayness lol.
haha gays good cinema is good as well sometimes - that new star wars the other year opening credits... that was worth seeing on the big screen cinema gets on my nerves a bit - at least in the theatre when you need to stretch your heart goes out to the actors/actresses who are jumping around for the 350th time that year :groovy:
haha - the movie stars never gave u a thought in the first place though at least the actors cant help but think of us - we are in their face i shouldnt be getting into this argument really - i dont go to either that regular and i can see the benefits of both its like reading the book then watching the film - its just a tad better
Actors piss me off. They're generally stuck up bastards claiming all the credit from an audience when in reality they don't do half as much work as some of the people involved.
haha i think the same can be said for the film actors also or are you talking in general? i know what you mean though - over all they do bugger all and take all the credit its same with bands - half of them dont write their own stuff and need an engineer as well - then get mad at dance artists saying they arent musicians they can all kiss my ass
Saw Billy Elliot the musical a few weeks back and thought it was fantastic. Not the greatest songs but very funny and brilliantly performed. I'd recommed it to anyone, especially given the north-east links...
