The main deck sound system was shit hot. when adam was on, and when Lee was on it sounded amazing. They really got the best out of it. the clarity was amazing. FAR better than the system in foundation for trance. When sheridan played the crush!! :groovy: the main synth was so clear... can foundation have an upgrade?
Yup have to agree, i was dancing in front of the spekers for ages, and i could feel the vibration goign straight through me, was well wierd
Aye - was gonna ask about those 'new' speakers - did you actually look at them? They looked totally different to Foundation's 'flat box' speakers.. they were like horns or something. Funny shaped with a cylinder coming out the middle. They were stacked and you could add as many as you wanted to fit the size of the room. One on it's own wasn't very big. Gatecrasher @ NEC had loads of bigger ones of them. New breed of speakers or have they been out a while? Either way - very good at spreading the joy. No distortion, crisp, bassy as fuck. Get some in Foundation
Re: The main deck sound system exactly my thoughts, me n me mate got straight int he main room n he sed to me, fuck me , this is the best sound system ive heard in a while!! i was exactly thinkint he same, would b class if it sounded like that at foundation!! crush sounded amazin!!!
They had the same at Tribal to help make Garnier sound extra sweet! Any techies about know what they are? They sound tight as fuck!
these aren't the same, but have a feeling they work along similar principles. Plus they're fatter than Michelle McManus which is the real reason i posted this here Innerfield Soundsystem Innerfield soundsystem is a 12 kW sound reinforcement system designed and built by our in house team of engineers. The unique visual impact and audio clarity of the system make it the perfect choice for prestige events. For bands or recorded music in clubs, festivals or corporate events the Innerfield Soundsystem gives an unsurpassed "wow" factor! The horn-loaded and direct radiating speaker designs provides efficiency in the bass and treble ranges for high output while not compromising smoothness, intelligibility and detail in the crucial mid ranges (where most conventional PAs break down). The system sounds clear and musical with acoustic music, but still has the kick needed for dance and rock. bloody hell thats huge!! Aye the sound system was sweet like! Anybody notice the Bose "Acoustic Bass Cannons" on the ceiling? at least i think thats what they were called
bloody hell ! i wouldnt mind a few of them in my front room ! im sure the neighbours would have somethin to say about them like !
Excellent sound system, I was well impressed, the whole event exceded my already high expectations I was deaf the day after, bring on the next one!
yes i was very impressed i came into the main room as a tune was about to break, i was taken away when it kicked in
:spangled: cant really remember what the quality in the main room was like but the rest of the systems sounded really really poor.. as if someone had wrapped a blanket round them.. especially in the funky room... was talkin to one of the djs who played on the boat on thursday last night and that was one of the first things he said to me.. those speakers are fooken mental!
your right there mate, it was pretty pointless playing really, cos i could hear fukk all when i was mixing, apart from feedback and overblown bass. The monitor was really bad, the sound wasnt defined from it, so u couldnt hear the beat. It was pretty impossible to mix.....
