It's a pill or injection of some sort that stops you from getting your burd or partner up the stick.

It's been tested in australia and is set to be available in 2-3 years time.

I would take it but am a bit sceptical on the side effects , women still suffer them now, headaches, swolen breasts (not that i complain about gthat like ) So if they have got side effects yet have been used for umpteen years now there must besome sort of one for blokes .... and if you look it says they will lower a mans sex drive (fuck that)... but you can overcome this by getting tostestorone tablets implanted into your abdomine(fuck that) of course this is just for the injection you could take the pill and fuck knows what would happen to you then .... er more tests please digerydoos.... But li9ke a said if its proven 100%safe then al tek em weather i remember is adifferent story!

Ive been on the pill, the injection and had the implant and none of them have made me put on weight.

The side affects that are the worst are mood swings. Feeling shit about yourself, bursting into tears for no reason etc cos they fuck your hormone levels up. Always settles down after your body gets used to it but its still shit

I heard on the radio last night that the male implant isnt gonna have any side affects at all. Not amused

Wallyjumblat - why the fuck should blokes not have it cos of side affects? Its about time there was an alternative and women werent the only ones it was available to. Women have to suffer so why the fuck shouldnt men??

5 years isn't a long time for medical studies on side effects though. I think I'll leave my swimmers alone.

Women dont have any choice at the moment do they? Condoms are the unsafest method of contraception. I for one would not rely one them alone, I dont want kids but I dont want to have no sex life. Contraception has side affects but if I dont want kids (which I dont right now) I dont have any choice. Its got fuck all to do with women having a higher pain threshold as you put it. Women have to cope with the side affects of contraception thats been around for years but you're saying you wouldnt want to. Women havent had much choice and it will stay the same if theres a lot of blokes continue to have attitudes like yours

Is that the best you can come up with?

Whats wrong with blokes taking responsibility and not relying on the woman to sort it out??

I dont agree. Hardly any of my boyfriends have ever been bothered about what contraception Ive been on, as long as Ive sorted it out. I just dont think attitudes towards stuff like this should be the way they are. Im over the moon thats theres gonna be contraception for men, especially without the side affects that women have. If blokes knew the way hormone inbalances due to contraception make us feel, it would be a very different story. Its not the same for all women, I know but I for one have been pretty fucked up off this stuff. Id much rather not have to go through it all.

All women are moody etc but the hormones from contraception make a lot of us far worse and anything that means that you blokes get less grief from us must be a good thing for yous :D
