    Just been in Texco buying the Chems singles CD, then saw they had a 2 for £19 offer so got The Who ultimate colelction to go with it :groovy: :groovy:

    I'll be honest, I'm looking fwd to listening to the Who CD more :king:

    Thats like comparing chalk with cheese.

    MC5 were punk.

    MC5 were incredibly talented and were some of punks early pioneers (although I prefer real motown bands from a few years before :p)... but you can't compare them to the Who, the who were in another league talent wise and from a completely different style of music :D

    not taking anything awya from MC5 though - big fan.

    don't think I've even heard any MC5 stuff.... were they 70's punk??

    The Who = 1 of the best Rock n Roll bands of all time :king:

    did you see the thing on channel 4 the other night??they had the surviving 3 of MC5 doing a concert with guest vocalists!pretty good like!

    ive never been a massive fan of thw who, but when they did that concert thing on the tv a while back it was brill!

    the albert hall gig, I'd of given my right arm to see that - was amazing :D

    when they played baba o'rielly with the fiddler and lazers :D

    Si being an ex-punk you'd love MC5 similar to the stooges.
