Is it just me who thinks this is a pretty rank word?

nope, me tooooo, its the dirtiest word there is me finks...ppl dont realise how nasty it can be when used i.e. you stupid cunt. my mam heard me say it once and i nearly got a smack in the teeth, off me MAM !!!!! only to be used in extreme cases however i personally am trying to stop the whole swearing thing. once on one i can get quite bad !!!!!

It's one of the few words you still can't say on British TV. Although it was almost said on Monday - well funny, South African bloke saying "cant" - Mr Partridge thought he was saying - well you know....

It's a great word, but over-used on here, by a looooooong way.

I used to fling the word about a fair bit when I was a young un. Now that I'm more...erm, mature, it's massively cringeful when you hear it used. Even when you don't think about the meaning, it just sounds so insulting. S'pose that's why people use it then !!
I'd challenge anyone to say it in front of a lass and not get a massive kick to the bollocks.

Cunt is a horrible word. Although when i get really pissed off it's great.

I reserve its usage for when I am seriously pissed off. It loses its meaning when used too often.

For fear of sounding like an old duffer in my earlier post, I'd like to try again. I agree with B.O.B in that it's a word that shouldn't be used just for the sake of it.

I don't mind it being used but over use just gives the impression of an inadequate vocabulary (this aint a dig at you Kerry)
