Tidy Resonate 3 - mixed by Guyver has anyone else got this cd??? just got it today, got some well quality tunage on by the look of it... azure -sunset,maddox- synthasaurus, wierdo - evil eye, guyvers mix of restless to name a few, typical tidy stuff like just what youd expect..... enough to have me dancin round my room anyway
the tracklistings a bit too obivious imo... most of the tracks i like on there i have already, an most of the others are a bit wank really... good cd if you're not a vinyl addict i suppose tho!
it is well obvious but stopped buying hard trance/house records a few month back, so most of these tunes i like but havent got....... got bored with tidy stuff, too predictable.... guyvers amazing like fucking 18yr old (or maybe 19 now??) apparently he made funky ass beatz (b-side of man on the moon) when he was 14!?! he defines the sound of tidytwo, never really surprises anyone with his tunes but loved differences & man on the moon
I wonder if any of the unique creativity of young producers gets sucked out of them when they join the likes of Tidy? Guyver produced Ripped Out when he was 17 (apparently his brother helped, presumably by telling him what sounded good...). But now he has been signed to Tidy the tracks don't stand out so much in my opinion. It would be interesting to know how much interference from other technicians and Tidy employees goes in to the tracks the likes of Guyver and Paul Maddox producee to make them adhere to the Tidy sound.
