Tidying up

    where is best to start in a new office where you don't know what anything is and if its vital or not.................argh I feel like a small fish in a large pond! :(

    i would start by not asking people who dont work with you :lol: ask your supervisor! :D

    just throw anything paper away, thats the best thing to start with

    i don't have one, I'm my own boss and on the same level as the general manager......its madness!

    just trying to go through filing cabinets but there is stuff here from 1995, i reckon thats safe to throw away

    It depends which sector you work in. I would have a look at audit and legal requirements before you bin anything! Maybe you could box stuff up and set it to one side, but I wouldn't bin it until you are absolutely sure.

    i'd print off loads of flyers on the back of everything saying summer beach bbq 12 o'clock today must wear beach attire, put them out round uni, then i'd nip to the shop get some food.

    Then i'd set up the fire with all the leftover papers, then burn it all baby!!!!hahahahaha, and have a fab afternoon.

    hmmmm tempting, I might have to start wearing beach attire to work as its far too warm in this glass windowless prison!

    you could always take all the papers to a recycle place, and use the money you get to buy an air conditioning unit.
