Tiesto's Magik CD's Does anyone erm.... NOT like these? Got number three on now and it just sounds like any old anthem bashing mix from the 1997-2000 era. Never understood what was so good about trance from that era. :spangled: Sounded too immature for my liking... the peaktime stuff at least. The mixing is gash on this aswell - total crossfader slamming action. Maybe im just gettin old like
you have to remember, they are anthems bacause of CDs, and nights like those. 5, 6 and 7 are immense. Im not bothered if the mixing is a bit raw, most of them are live mixes, and i htink he manages to keep the energy going quite well. I would have loved to have been in Amsterdam for 6!
ive got magik 6+7 on cd but had to delete the others on mp3 cos my computers gay.. top series better than isos?
the mixing is quite poor on some of them, but then again i thought the same bout his free mix cd for mixmag aswell!!! good series all the same though, not many dj's can say they've done anything better!!!
4 5 6 i like, 7 is a bit crap imo. the mixing in 6 is probably the best ive heard tiesto do ever heh + would have loved to be there, even tho i would have been like 14 or summat at the time lol * puts magik 6 on
Ahh I never knew they were live mixes (some of them) - That would explain the cheesy track selection and the famous tiesto live mixing skillz
