    Tiffany's

    fucking wankers.

been waiting since feb for their 'insurance quote' for the ring and it finally came today... only it isn't an insurance quote its a bit of paper that says how much it cost then & now, and the size/colour/clarity...

I COULD'VE GOT THAT FROM MY RECIEPT AND THE CERTIFICATE!!

so it's been kinda but not properly insured for no reason for the last 6 months now  :(

and it means now i have to get proper house insurance an not just mooch off my parents :(

    harsh.

sorry just needed to vent :p

girlls love tiffany's forsome reason, this badboy cost my parents a bomb,

like i would pay obscene money to a company exploiting people all over the world for something to the untrained eye could be a block of glass, and more than likely be from a country like seira leone with which has a reputation of amputating diamond dealers because people in the west think they look pretty!

you can definately tell a tinnany's from something like elisabeth duke...

think its as much the cut & presentation on the band as the quality of the stone itself.

one of my gf's mates from home had the cheek to advise her to get it checked out cos it didn't look real when compared to her argos one!

It may well be, but nothing from Tiffany's is sub-£5k.

And I agree, you can tell Tiffany (or any other top-end jewellers, Bvlgari, etc.) stuff apart from anything else instantly.
