    tigers..

i watched an excellent documentry on tigers last night...it was about 2 blokes who took a brother & sister bengaul tiger over from a zoo to afric & taught them how to hunt & b wild so that they could release them as part of a programme..... after release they are still tracking them thru the reserve they are in...

1 of them chased & caught an ostrich...

i learned a lot about tigers & so did these big cat experts!!

    :king:

tiger penis soup is considered a luxury in the far east, costing around $300 a bowl.

eurgh...part of this project was to introduce tigers into the wild in africa so that they don't become completely extinct cos in asia they are on their way out! :(

I want to go to Ranthambore National Park in India to see Tigers. It's gonna cost a lot of money but hopefully I'll be able to do it sometime in the next few years :D :D

Yep but their trip involved other places as well. I want my holiday to be there, I dont want to do the other tours you normally get. I'd probs have to have a package done specially and its gonna cost a fortune :(

I wouldnt go to India without it being arranged cos i want to spend all my time there. I can get accomodation for free but don't know how far it is from Ranthambore, from what I already know you can book direct with Ranthambore so that would bring the cost down anyway. I'm not even thinking about getting it sorted yet cos Ive got too much other stuff going on. For at least the next year its gonna be cheap holidays at Hoggs mam and dads apartment :D

get yourself to India and nowhere is expensive to go and see tigers. Only thing is the only time you get to see any is in may....at the time when its sooooo hot and trecking round India isnt reccomended. The tigers are forced to come out then to drink in the rivers and lakes (or rather whats left of them before monsoon.

amy seriously dont go on a package....get a flight and DIY....its quite easy and so much more fun. And you'll do exactly the same for a few pounds rather than 100's. Theres much better tiger spotting reserves than that one too.
