Ubek is one of those timeless classics, when the bass kicks in on a big sound system you feel it right through you. :D

He's a great DJ and has a unique style about him.

it'a quite tough funky tech house, good stuff. Ive seen Timo quite a bit. His mixing has much improved, it used to be shocking

I play the same style sometimes

I never thought much of Timo till me and orbit saw him this year in london..... totally unprepared for his style... but damn it was great.

Very laid back tech house to start with, building up to some great prog house - but kept the bpm low.

He concentrated the whole time too, never looked up barely out the dj box at all - the crowd didnt care either... which was quite insteresting cause in the trance scene, most people expect the DJ to wave their hands around to the crowd every time a "choon" is dropped :D

I dont think timo would work up here at all unless there was a decent night put on for him - Its either mainstream house at shindig or trance at promise.... Totally out of whack.

Great DJ though, and yeah - his mixing seemed really quite decent.

    Anybody heard his 'Unite' track?

It's on the end of the Futureshock part of this Essential Mix I'm listening to, and I've heard it before somewhere.

White label so I'm presuming it's new, would expect you lot to like it :)

i have to say i still think his best sound was when he released music for the maases. Seems to have gone more experimental and weird now. Bring back the bad ass bass line Timo!!!!!:bang:

Aye, thats a quality tune. Passive Aggressive's better though, I remember back in the day when Dave Seaman played it at Promise. I even started my first ever mix tape with it.

    Timo is fantastic.

His mixing is massively improved, and he really knows how to build a set.

I just  his overall sound.

The Dig should def book him.

I downloaded some set of his off the net, can't remember what it was but I really wasn't impressed. Didn't think much of his artist album either. The first Music for the Masses is quality though.
