tbh bramble for all his mistakes for the toon, has prooved that he is a decent defender, not world class by any means but not bad

TBF he has improved quite dramatically since his Newcastle days, won player of the year at Wigan season before last iirc and also said that it was Steve Bruce who was responsible for bringing the best out of him at Wigan, plus transfer fee mentioned on Sky Sports as being between £750k - £1 million so hardly taking a big risk if the move dosen't work out.

I thought he looked canny in the Spurs V Wigan game. Wigan only let 79 goals past them last season he must have really improved.
