alright, im abit concerned for a big group of mates, most of them arn't so much into clubbing etc. but a few come out when they can.

Theyve taken to having pills like 3 times a week or atleast every weekend. The thing is some of them are taking like 14+ !! i mean thats got to be really bad forya ? ive told them i rekon its pretty stupid , wasting there money and increasing there tolerence for no reason. they just said "its much better man im high as fuck all night" lol

how could i get the message accross its stupid before someone gets took to hospital etc. :spangled:

Generally you can't, you just have to let people learn for themselves.

Get them a pill and swap it for a lacsitive ! theyl think twice before buying them again .

14 over how long a period ? are you talking an all night and the next morning or just in the club ? if its just in the club its really bad if its over more than 12 hours its still bad but theye less chance of going to far

Apparently if you take that many in such a short period of time, most of them will pass through you without much effect (though putting an extra strain on your liver etc), so just tell them it's a waste of money.

It's like drinking neat whisky (or any other spirit) - looks hard, but actually you piss most of it out as the alcohol needs a carrier (ie a mixer) to get it into your bloodstream (again, it still puts the strain on your liver, just doesn't affect your brain as much).

Of course it still affects you, just not as much as it would if you took them over a longer period of time etc, ie eight pills taken at once doesn't get you eight times as smashed as just taking one.

It's still bloody stupid though. Liver damage anyone?

I've been there (about 6/7 years ago) and eventually the comedowns will get too much and they'll either

A. Knock it on the head

or

B. Cut right down

i had my phase, from about late 2000 to early 2004

it just gets boring after a while, the comedowns are too much, and it just makes you feel seedy and basically a bellend

i have the odd lapse, such as hi-fi, but only when the occasion is right

the days of double dropping to watch match of the day on a saturday night are long gone

they will grow out of it

you could stop hanging about with 14+ yo

i used to get pretty fucked, most ive done is around 10 in a night. but even back then it was sporadic and not week in week out.

i barely touch anything now, mainly due to a lack of money... but i dont miss pills.

im sure they'll get sick of it sooner or later.

Most Ive prob done in a sessiont is about 14...once you get to a certain point you definitely stop getting as wrecked you just feel shit, look hideous and stop talking
