Top live jazzy instruments/vocals over house beats, got a real swing to it

3. Dj Sneak - Loop de Loop (Magnetic)
Double 12 with lots of top sneak beats, return to form for the big lad, roll on the 6th

4. Natural Rhythm & Trap Groove - The Dancefloor Jazz Ep (Lowdown)
B2 "what's goin' on" is the track for me, top jackin tackle with a cheeky soul II soul sample, two other ace deeper jazzier tracks complete a top ep

5. Joey Youngman - Captain Boom Boom Ep (Fetish)
You know the score, joey+sampler+skippy jackin beats = works everytime, this is one of his better ones though and has the deeper "Love Life" on the B2.

6. Shrewd - Words Ep (Myna)
The title track is the winner for me, choppy bump funk!

7. Brett Johnson - Best Intentions For Failed Inventions Ep (Classic)
Classic is nearly over (sob) but they're going out in style with this excellently titled ep, track B1 "Follow the Bouncing Ball" is some wicked electro jack house without going overboard

8. Littlemen Presents Fill Ya Boots (Drop)
3 quality deep bumpers from the ever reliable drop

9. Toe Jam featuring Rachel Modest - Waiting (Robsoul)
The Hector Moralez dub is the one for me, stripped down so works well in the mix, kinda acid tinged number with some cool swooshes and guitar licks

10. Filthy presents - Deep in Detroit (Leg)
the man like jason hot'jizzy back on the bootleg run, as always a chart of mine aint complete without at least one hip hop boot and this is my pick of the recent bunch

the new classic is totaly shit and a disgrace to one of my fav house labels.

you reckon? the a side aint much cop but the two b side tracks are decent the b1 track in particular i reckon

but each to their own, one of the goods things with classic is not everybody always likes the tracks they put out, theres been a few over the years i've been like eurrgh! i actually passed up on isolee - beau mont plage when it first came out then heard it in a club a week later and was like wtf was i thinking

its a sad end to one of the best house labels.

maybe the final ep by rob mello or summik on the rumoured compilation may be more to your liking
