tune ID from gabriel & dresden last week?

    tune ID from gabriel & dresden last week?

    hey everyone, you know those vid's lee put up from G&D on the 13th, well you can id those tunes as "as the rush comes", "beautiful things", "fallen" and the "nirvana" one, but what is the other one?? on the night it stood out for me as the best tune so was well chuffed lee recorded it, but can anyone shed any light on it purleeze?

    cheers for the quick reply Jim but it aint that tune, its the vid where Lee is in the dj booth, kinda breakbeaty build up then it kicks off...

    I wasn't there but there's a tune out at the minute by josh gabriel called alive that builds up and kicks off with breaks and builds up again into a proper kick off- it sounds a little bit like pistol whipped by joshua ryan in parts but with a male vocal
    PLayed it at GKGG, it could be that?

    could have been anything, he was using Ableton Live, was re-editing and sampling live, was good to watch. :eek:

    The richie hawtin mixer, the Allen & Heath xone 92 ctrl that's coming out has an interface specifically for ableton apparently- got more buttons on than any mixer I've seen.

    TH CTRL one? I didn't think it was out yet, might be wrong though.
    Just realised you meant ableton not the mixer- is it good?

    That Ableton programme is really good fun got a demo version of it, would love to get the full version you could do a full set just using that.
