Tune ID - Texas Chain Saw Massacre trailor

    Anyway, anyone seen it?

Is the music in it an old Oakie favourite called "Song to the siren" ? Anyone help? Absolute belter of a tune/vocal.

Oh ... and how good does the film look.

looks like they've tried to stick pretty close to the original, it does look very good! the original just makes your flesh creep, the whole atmosphere of it... leatherface is a damn scary bloke...

Could it be Barraka – Song to the Siren????
Same vocal as Ratty – Sunrise but sounds much better!:D
Check the Max Graham mix Craig, it might be that.
The Barraka version was a remake tho, I cant remember the name of the original artist:)

from the original i like the bit when the guy is looking around and hears a noise so turns around and leatherface comes from behind and just smacks him on the back of the head with a hammer. the noise is fucking horrible. love it

The worst bit for me on the original, is where the grandfatha has the hammer in his hand and they have that lasses head over the bucket, the whole family are gathered round laughing like there watching pop idol or summat, and the lass is screaming her tits off.....Horrible like!!

I'm not sure about the track, but early reports from the US are that it is a good, scary remake. It is supposed to have captured the same feel to the first, perhaps not quite there, but close. R. Lee Ermey apparantly chews up the scenery. His interrogation scenes in this flick are truly on the rotten in Denmark side of things, apparantly.

He's the same guy from Full Metal Jacket - he played a right twat in that also:D Here he is:

Mate I think it might be that one - it sounded brilliant in the trailor as there was no backing - beat etc... just the vocal alone. Chilling :cool2:

"the best part of you ran down the crack of your momma arse and ended as a brown stain on the mattress" the classic line from Full Metal Jacket.

    or even better

"you're so ugly you're like a modern art masterpiece" or something similar... he's sooooo intense in that film.

    SONG TO THE SIREN
    On the floating, shipless oceans
I did all my best to smile
til your singing eyes and fingers
drew me loving into your eyes.
    And you sang "Sail to me, sail to me;
    Let me enfold you."
Here I am, here I am waiting to hold you.
Did I dream you dreamed about me?
Were you here when I was full sail?
Now my foolish boat is leaning, broken lovelorn on your rocks.
For you sang, "Touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow."
Oh my heart, oh my heart shies from the sorrow.
I'm as puzzled as a newborn child.
I'm as riddled as the tide.
Should I stand amid the breakers?
Or shall I lie with death my bride?
Hear me sing: "Swim to me, swim to me, let me enfold you."
"Here I am. Here I am, waiting to hold you."

It's used in loads of songs
