and i'm sick of hearing about people saying how much of a good player van persie is going to be.

I disagree, he's only young and from what I've seen of him so far he's got the ability to become a class player. He's got a mint left foot and is really skillful. He's been a bit hit and miss so far but under Wenger I reckon he'll become a cracking player.

oh....and his goal definately wasn't a fluke, he's already shown that he can hit them.

I believe van Persie has got a hell of a lot going for him and will be an adequete replacement for Henry in the long run. You can't teach someone how to hit a ball like that!

technique wise hes got one of the best left feet in the prem, all hes got to do is mature and he'll be the finished article

    don't get me wrong.

i think he's a decent player but i just don't see him turning into the next bergkamp like many people are predicting.

he's not clever enough and i often think when watching him that he makes the wrong decisions i.e doesn't pass the ball in key positions .

    i think he's greedy.

you don't have to believe everything the pundits say you know.

But he's still young and still learning. If he was the finished article then he'd be playing week in week out with Henry but at the moment he does still need to improve his game. theres no doubting his ability and he's at the right place to become a really good player.

He reminds me of Berkamp at Ajax. Hes going to get better asa he puts on some beef.

One of the top ten young players in the world today.

Wenger is the best buyer of young talent EVER.

I think what he means is that Wenger is class at finding worldclass young players for next to nowt. Unlike fergie at the moment..

nah i agree with the fish, wenger manages to buy youngens which noone has heard of, who turn out to be cracking players, everyone knew what rooney could do already, it was just a case of who had the cash to buy him.
