thats the fucker, i ll get nothing as the car is old, despite the fact its only got 80000 on the clock, and still cruises nicely down the A1..

In reality its probably worth £1k, to me its worth much more, and to the insurance company, well i might beable to get a clapped out metro or fiesta out of the money i ll get...

I dont think it was stolen with the veiw to sell on, as its worth bugger all, more as something to joy ride in till the petrol runs out, it ll probably be found burnt out, or feature on crimewatch next month...

    bastards:(

Saw the car today, it was found in sandyford. Locks for the door and ignition were mashed, so trying to work out whether it would be better to fix it off, or write it off...

Dissertations supposed to be in on friday, really could do without the hassle, still they ve got some fingerprints, so hopefully they find the fuckers, and chop their arms and legs off, and pay for the repairs/compensation!

£120 just for having the vehicle moved from Sandyford to a garage in Byker! And i might end up copping the bill! how fair is that??

It all comes down to whether the insurance will pay for the repairs etc. or whether they ll deem it not worthwhile, in which case, we may end up paying for the repairs...:(

i had my MG nicked about 9 years back. found stripped to the chassis - they took the doors, dashboard, windows, seats, interior light, everything. They had to send a 'special' tow truck to recover it back to my house - £150 i was charged cause it had no wheels on.

talk about insult to injury. i wasn't going to pay it - then the Police that was there said if i didn't remove it - I'D be charged.

i was only 18 and it was my pride and joy, left stripped and gutted.

least u got the car back & they might be able to catch them...still can't understand why they towed the car & then informed u after the charge had been put in place....then again i answered that question already! :(

lol, thanks man, wouldnt mind a calibre, altough i wouldnt like to be the passenger in the back, u need to be less than 5ft to sit in the back of them things...

If i get the insurance money, i ll probs only get at the most £300, so i think a calibre would be a bit out my price range at the moment:)

    Thanks though!:)
