I keep seeing more of these ads popping up on tv, do you think video messaging via our fones will really take off?

wait couple years til the technology becomes affordable then we'll all have one. Video phones look mint, i want 1 now.

same happens with all new tech stuff, expensive to start with, seems like a gimicky toy, 3 years later we can't live without it

I think it'll be shit at first because ull have to have a handsfree kit on it unless u have loudspeaker on... even if it does become wireless do u really want 2 have to find some crappy heaphone everytime u use it....

The pay as u go service isnt THAT expensive.
U can get some of the 3G fones for < £200 on special offers at some places.

Then video messaging is 50p/minute....not too bad considering no contract...

However, its the coverage that worries me - the coverage for video messaging isnt THAT good currently - once it is a lot better al be getting one for sure

i would say thank fuck! Although i use both a lot, i really wouldnt give a damn if someone turned these off, we coped in the past...

They seem to look alright but i bet the system for it goes down all the time within the first year or so. I would personally leave it a year and then go for one.
