    Vista beta

Anyone had a go with the latest beta?

I wasn't sold on it for a bit but after some use some of the features are really cleaver.

Pretty as well, I like pretty things!

I read you need a super duper spec PC with uber graphics card to even run it?

does this beta support every thing tho, i fancied a try but wasnt sure cos some programs/drivers i use may not work with it.

might give it a whirl anyway cos this shit box is in dire need of formatting

Id not go over to using it yet as it's a bit buggy.

I've not found anything that wont work with it yet, seems to run winxp software and drivers fine.

    I tried beta 7478 ~ 2 years ago..

It looks like its came on leaps.. the beta I had still had the side bar.
Might get this and stick it on me spare 20 gig disk..

Wouldn't mind a shot of this - however dial up at home :( and no torrents through the work tittyweb :( :(

HOWEVER i've just got an unofficial copy of MAC OSX for Intel - gunna install that on a spare drive, see what MAC people have been babbling about for yonks

you're just too use to the windows way of working...i'm sure if we'd have been brought up in the parallel universe where OSX was the main OS, we'd be saying the same about Windows

make sure your motherboard is fully supported first else u wont get anywhere.

mine installed like a dream and was fast as fook! however as my m/b aint an intel based chipset (its VIA) I didnt have access to the pci bridge so no pci cards :(

it's the dogs danglers mind - rock solid and fast as u like!

as for vista - still far too buggy for my liking - i've had enough with messing on with various builds so im not waiting for final!

    very impressive OS mind.
